Creating EFT Positive Affirmations with the Power of Choices
You can add EFT positive affirmations to your EFT Tapping, with the Power of Choices. This powerful technique has been created by
Patricia Carrington, EFT Master.
For example, you maybe feel anxious about what happened to you today.
Take the intensity of your discomfort from a scale of 0 to 10. Usually the EFT Set Up for this issues would be:
“Even though I feel anxious for what happened today, I deeply and completely love and accept myself”.
To use the Power of Choices method, you add your choice, the EFT positive affirmations, as the positive statement in the Set Up.
Ex: “Even though I feel anxious for what happened today, I choose to be patient and calm.”
Repeat your Set Up phrase 3 times, while you tap on the Karate Chop Point.
Then you will tap on the EFT Energy Points, using 3 different kinds of Reminder Phrases:
Round 1, the Negative Reminder Phrase: “I feel anxious for what happened today.”
Round 2, the Positive Reminder Phrase: “I choose to be patient and calm.”
Round 3, alternate the Negative and the Positive Reminder Phrases, using the Negative Reminder Phrase for the first EFT Energy Point (EB = Eyebrow) and the Positive Reminder Phrase (this is the EFT Choice) for the next EFT Energy Point (SE = Side Eye.) and so on, until you tap on TH = Top Head.
Remember that independently from the Energy Points that you will tap, you must always end up with the Positive Reminder Phrase.
Take the Intensity of your discomfort from a scale of 0 to 10. Check out your intensity of discomfort. If you have not reached the zero intensity, repeat this method again, starting from the Set Up again, until you don't feel any discomfort.
