More about Sociopathic Traits
Sociopaths, are told to be
without conscience
, guilt and remorse. They do not care about paying bills, to lie and cheat their friends and spouses. They are told to be intelligent and charming, but also manipulative and conning. Sociopaths exaggerate their reality and create false credentials. They can take the identity of CEOs, engineers, lawyers, physicians, very spiritual people, artists, etc, because people have trust for these categories. The sociopath looks to be a combination of mental illnesses developed during childhood, caused by genetic heredity and after experiencing traumas, neglect and abuses. The lack of emotional development creates lack of empathy in the sociopath, that is unable to feel other people's feelings. Every sociopath has his/her own special traits. Researchs have shown that sociopaths may have differences in the brain and for example they may have a disfunction of Oxytocin, the hormone that creates bond and connection.
Swedish medical doctor and physiologist Kerstin Uvnäs Moberg has researched and written The Oxytocin Factor: Tapping The Hormone of Calm, Love and Healing . Moberg asserts that Oxytocin is responsible for inducing peace, growth and bonding and explores the various physical and mental routes to activate it.
Eric Hollander of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, is researching if Oxytocin can help alleviate disorders associated with early neglect.

ADHD and Sociopathy
Children with ADHD can develop sociopathic traits. This because poor impulse control is a central feature of ADHD. Researches have shown that effective parenting can help to change the patterns of children's brain. According Dr. Liane Leedom, author of Women Who Love Psychopaths , to address the impulse control problem, is the first step to reducing people with sociopathic traits in our society.
Da Vinci Personality, ADHD and Sociopathic Traits
The
Da Vinci Method,
written by Garret Lo Porto, is a book that gives interesting insights showing you the secret to using your ADD/ADHD to become a great success.
In fact people labeled with ADHD may have a Da Vinci Personality, as many other notable personalities, such as Walt Disney, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Richar Brandson, Bill Clinton, etc.
Less than 10% of the world's population has this rare personality.
Looking for more answers about sociopathy, I read also the Da Vinci Method and I found something interesting, about the DaVinci Personality and the
Eidetic Imaginery.
In fact, Da Vincis may be what psychologists call "Eidetic Imagers".
This means that they have the capacity to imagine and visualize images that are clear, bright, full color, immersive and multi-dimensional. Usual personality types usually imagine colorless and two-dimensional. This requires high levels of
Theta functioning.
The downside of this, is that the Eidetic imagery, can be used by the imagination to mock up immersive scenarios and a DaVinci can believe that this is the reality.
This fact can cause that the Da Vinci can distort the truth and can believe to his/her own fantasy. Then he/she can start selling his/her own truth because he/she believes to the own fantasy.
Other people will believe that, because there is not evidence that the Da Vincis are lying. They believe in their own lies. Lo Porto makes the example of Hitler, as example about how a man could use Eidetic imaginery to deceit an intere nation of his self-deceptions.
Lo Porto tells that "you become sociopathic when you allow your own fantasies with Eidetic imaginery to cloud your perception of truth". You can get so removed from the truth to become lost.
The Da Vinci Method is designed to help to discover these self-deceptions in yourself and root them out.
This is a factor that can turn a great personality as a Da Vinci, in a neurotic one, a self-deceived Da Vinci.
Are you or someone in your family a Da Vinci?
