Reiki for Dogs: How I healed Mio with Reiki
Reiki for dogs is a wonderful kind of healing, very harmonic and relaxing. It also strenghten the bond bewteen you and your dog. I wish to tell you how I healed Mio, my beloved cocker spaniel, with Reiki healing. In 2006, Mio began to have some sneezing and a kind of breathing attacks. They sounded terrible and it looked as it was asthma. He had these attacks several times a day, and it was very heavy to see him. I was really concerned. I did not know EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) at that time, otherwise Surrogate EFT would have been another powerful techique to treat him. At that time, I was attuned to the first level in Reiki. I took Mio to the veterinary, because I wished to check his lungs. It was the only time that Mio met a veterinary. Mio is a vegan dog, very healthy and we follow a natural approach to life. Medicines and vaccinations are not a part of our life. The veterinary told me that Mio had something called "nose mites", pneumonyssoides caninum." In Swedish "noskvalster." Nose mites are parasites that live in the dog's nose and sinuses. The veterinary told me that in case I wished, there were some treatements with drugs to try. I went home and I googled "nose mites" to find more information. The treatments for nose mites were told to be more or less risky for the dogs. Some dogs, within certain breeds, had even died. I looked for an animal homeopath and I met her as soon as possible. She asked a lot about Mio and she was a very harmonic person. She told me that she would have prepared an homeopathic medicine to strengthen Mio's immune system.
I was going through a change in my life, and now I can see how Mio took my stress on himself. The homeopathic medicine was meant to arrive by post because the homeopath lived in another town. It would have taken about a week to get it. Mio was continuing in having the breathing attacks at any time. Suddenly I thought to Reiki for dogs and I decided to treat him with Reiki. I could see that he enjoyed a lot to have his Reiki treatments. After two days of Reiki sessions, I was amazed that the breathing attacks were lowered to just two times a day. Before he had at least seven. And at the end of the week, Mio was symptom free and he remained symptom free since that time. The homeopathic medicine arrived when Mio was already healed! You can imagine how I felt! I must tell that because I had just the first level in Reiki, I didn't think directly to Reiki as a treatment, because I had the belief that I would have been a Reiki Master to heal Mio. But I was so concerned that I put all my Love and Light on him while we were waiting for the homeopathic medicine. It is wonderful that Reiki Master Judith Conroy has created a Reiki Self Attunement to become a powerful Reiki Master at once. Reiki is already inside of you.
