EFT, Compassion and Forgiveness to heal after a relationship with a sociopath
At my sight, a person affected by sociopathy, does not choose this condition. Compassion and Forgiveness are powerful tools to help to recover after a relationship with a sociopath. Apparently, according to psychiatrists and researchers, the causes of sociopathy, are genetic and environmental. Therefore, I do not see evil people, but I see people in need of healing. Our planet needs love, compassion and forgiveness to heal.
CompassionCompassion is the key to Unconditional Love. You can add compassion to your EFT Set Up. Example: "Even though I feel so sad and vulnerable, I have deep compassion for myself and ...(his/her name)" "Even though I am angry, I choose to release blame and I have love and compassion for myself and ...(his/her name)."
Words of Compassion and Forgiveness by the Dalai Lama
"Compassion compels us to reach out to all living beings, including our so-called enemies, those people who upset or hurt us. Irrespective of what they do to you, if you remember that all beings like you are only trying to be happy, you will find it much easier to develop compassion towards them. Usually your sense of compassion is limited and biased. We extend such feelings only towards our family and friends or those who are helpful to us. People we perceive as enemies and others to whom we are indifferent are excluded from our concern. That is not genuine compassion. True compassion is universal in scope. It is accompanied by a feeling of responsibility. To act altruistically, concerned only for the welfare of others, with no selfish or ulterior motives, is to affirm a sense of universal responsibility. One of the emotions most disturbing our mental tranquility is hatred. The antidote is compassion. We should not think of compassion as being only the preserve of the sacred and religious. It is one of our basic human qualities. Human nature is essentially loving and gentle". ~ The Dalai Lama
ForgivenessForgiveness is choosing to love. It is the first skill of self-giving love. ~ Mahatma Gandhi Forgiveness is a very powerful tool after a relationship with a sociopath.
Forgiveness is a gift that we give to ourselves. When we forgive, we release our negative emotions that affect the quality of our lives and the people around us. To forgive is the key to peace, harmony and spiritual growth. You can have a very positive switch in your energy by adding Forgiveness to your EFT Set Up. Examples: “Even though I feel that the relationship with...(his/her name) damaged me so much...I deeply love and accept myself, and I forgive myself, and I forgive... (his/her name) too”. “Even though the relationship with...(his/her name) created this problem (be specific)...I choose to forgive myself, and ...(his/her name) too. “Even though I feel mentally split and confused, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and I choose to forgive myself, and ...(his/her name)”
EFT Set Up adding Compassion and Forgiveness“Even though my heart is broken, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and I have compassion and forgiveness for myself and...(his/her name)”

Important note: This site is provided as a good faith effort to expand the use of EFT in the world. My EFT work is based on my own experience and extraordinary results, and it is conducted independently from Gary Craig, EFT founder. Complete understanding of EFT and the EFT training videos are available at http://www.emofree.com. While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it.
